Decent stay, but some hiccups
I had a pretty good time here. The staff was friendly and super helpful, always ready to lend a hand. Rooms were clean enough, and the snack bar had some decent munchies. Only issue was that the shower had some plumbing problems, which made it a bit annoying. But overall, a solid spot for the price.

nothing awful motel
The rooms have a pervasive smell of smoke!!! Stains on sheets, holes and cigarette marks on walls, and a chaotic atmosphere outside make it feel very unsafe. Improvements are definitely needed in cleanliness and safety protocols!!!

Had an awesome time with friends exploring Historic Ardenwood Farm and Dumbarton Pier. The staff was super friendly, helping us feel right at home. We enjoyed cable programming and the location was convenient for our adventures. Definitely recommend this place for a group stay!
However, we encountered an issue with missing items, and it took a bit of effort to resolve. It's something to keep in mind when handling your belongings.

Found the room clean and comfortable, but amenities were lacking—no fridge or microwave. The internet was frustratingly slow, and there was some noise from neighbors. However, the staff was surprisingly friendly, which made the experience more pleasant. Overall, a decent stay for the price offered.

missingWrote a review on Jan 26limited outlets
No hot water for my stay made for some very unpleasant mornings. The lack of towels for two days was inconvenient, along with only three outlets in the room, limiting charging options. Not to mention, I found cigarette ashes lingering in the window track, which marred the otherwise clean appearance. The noise from a nearby box truck rattling all night really cut into my rest, and the TV programming left a lot to be desired—almost like it was sourced from another planet.

missingWrote a review on Jan 25clean roomconvenient locationgood valueworn areasoutdated facilities
The Motel 6 in Hayward made my stay pretty convenient! The room felt clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long drive. The Wi-Fi worked without major issues, which helped me stay connected. I appreciated the nearby Denny's and McDonald's, perfect for grabbing a bite. However, I encountered a few downsides. The common areas appeared worn and could use more frequent cleaning. The ice machine was out of order during my visit, which was disappointing. I also had a brief mix-up at check-in with the staff seeming confused about my reservation. Overall, it met my basic needs but definitely has room for improvement.

The room was a bit dated but clean enough. The bed wasn’t the comfiest, and I noticed a slight smell of smoke. Also saw a cockroach in the bathroom, which was pretty gross. On the bright side, it was affordable, and the parking lot was well-lit. Wi-Fi was slow but functional.
